Summary
Jet Reports, an international leader in enterprise reporting solutions, is currently looking for a qualified Report Analyst to join the Professional Services Team. The candidate should be a technical-minded team player with strong interpersonal skills since the role involves substantial contact with both clients and business partners. The position is located at the International Headquarters in Portland, Oregon, so the candidate would be required to be based out of this location.

This position has two primary duties: to provide training and support to new and existing clients and to create and modify custom reports for end-users.

The Report Analyst will communicate and build strong relationships with clients and business partners throughout the post-sales process. This will involve providing entry level training for the clients on how to use the software to create reporting solutions that are in line with their individual organization’s requirements.

In addition, customized advanced client training will often be provided following the initial training program. Training will often be web-based but some travel will be required when a client requests onsite training at their location. Travel will generally be limited to locations throughout North America.

Skills:

• History of providing excellent customer service, both written and verbal
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Strong desire to learn about technical concepts with regard to how they will be applied in a real-world business environment
• Strong time-management skills
• Self motivated
• Due to the nature of the role, a strong general understanding of databases and their structure is highly desired
• General knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, MIS, or Computer Science is required
• Past experience in business analysis, report writing, or database management is preferred
• Knowledge of the Navision and/or Great Plains ERP systems is a strong bonus
• Background in accounting is preferred
